Our Club

The GFWC Coral Gables Woman’s Club is in DISTRICT 11 of  Florida Federation of Woman’s Clubs and we are also members of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs; we belong to the Southern Region which includes the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina and Puerto Rico.

Our History

The Coral Gables Woman’s Club is a social and community service organization that represents a wide spectrum of women of all ages. In existence since 1923, the Club is comprised of dynamic women from Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Our common bond is a commitment to making South Florida a better place to live through helping other organizations.

We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. The first meeting of the month is a General Meeting. The second meeting is a "Fun Night."6:30pm Social Time 7:00pm Meeting

Our entire membership came out for our 2018 Annual Holiday Party.

For the first time the Children's Festival will include "The  Butterfly Encounter."  The exhibit is a Florida based educational family business that teaches about the life cycle of the butterfly.

They have a 15'x28' inflatable exhibit with 100 plus butterflies inside. They will provide feeding sticks with nectar and the festival goers will be able to interact and take as many pictures as they like. It is an all day event. Attendees are shown how to properly feed and handle a butterfly.
